Sleding, Snowboarding & Snowman at Palomar Mtn.

Brayden ventured up to the snow for the first time this month. He had a great time snowboarding, sleding and building a snowman with Mommy & Daddy. We cannot wait till Brayden starts walking so we can really strap him into a snowboard or skiis... :)

8 Months Old...

Brayden is now 8 months old and is doing something new and exciting almost every day, he has even starting to clap his hands to prove it. He is now starting to crawl on his knees, instead of doing the military crawl. He is also pulling himself up and walking using furniture as his guide. Brayden is so much fun and has a great personality. His weight is about 21lbs and he is 30 inches long. Brayden is so excited about Christmas. He just loves the Christmas tree which he waves at everday and all the Christmas lights.

Happy Thanksgiving!

This year we were fortunate enough to be able to spend Thanksgiving with both the Schlitz family - Thursday & Bateman family - Friday. Brayden had a great time and got to test out some mash potato's, yams and honey baked ham.. :)

7 months old & up, up and away...

Now that Brayden is 7 months old he got to go on his first airplane ride this month. It was not just an ordinary airplane ride, it was one with his Opa, Captain Mike Bateman flying the Southwest airplane. Nana took Brayden and I on this inaugural flight which we flew to Las Vegas and back. Brayden could not have been a better passenger. He did perfectly and even got to hang out with his Opa in the cock pit.

1st Camping Trip

We took Brayden camping for the first time to Idyllwild in October. We had fun walking through the woods, playing on the play ground and checking out the town. We also drove up to Big Bear to go on a small hike and check things out.

1st Halloween :)

Brayden got to venture out for his first Halloween. We met up with our baby play group at the park and had a fun time meeting other mommies and babies. Also, his cousin Megan came down for the weekend to take Brayden out trick-or-treating. Brayden looked so cute as a little Lion. His costume was picked out by his cousin Nathan. :)

Bates Nut Farm

We headed out to Bates Nut Farm to get Brayden's first pumpkin. We had a lot of fun looking at all the animals, checking out the store and walking through the pumpkin patch. Our friends Laura and Nico (who was born the same day as Brayden in the same hospital) joined us for a photo shoot. Too bad Brayden got a little cranky towards the end of the day, but the pictures are still cute. :)

6 Months Old....

Wow, Brayden is already 1/2 year old, time is really starting to fly now. He is 18.6 lbs and 28.25 inches long, that puts him at the 95th percentile. I believe we are going to have a tall boy on our hands. He is making efforts to start crawling and is doing really good sitting up on his own. This month, we also got to visit are very special OSU volleyball friends Julie & Dawn. Daddy even took Brayden on his first ride on a dirt bike. Everything has been going great and he is such a joy to be around, he is developing quite the personality. We LOVE our little man.... :)

Cousin Josi's Birthday

We had a blast at cousin Josi's 4th Birthday. As usual, Nana did a wonderful job of hosting it. Brayden got to ride in a Jeep and go in the big jumpy. All the kids had a lot of fun, even the big kids... :)
