Happy Mother's Day!!!

This was our first Mother's Day. We had a great time with family over at our house. Mommy is so happy that she is FINALLY a mom and got to be a part of this special day..... :) It was fun hanging out with all my cousins and I finally got to meet Uncle Doug and cousin Nathan.

1 Month Old :)

I cannot believe I am already 1 month old. Boy, how time flies..... It was a busy month for me and I am starting to adjust to being out in this world pretty well. :) My jaundice is finally gone and I am starting to fatten up. On Wednesday at my Dr. appointment I was 8 lbs. 12 oz. Yah!!

Brayden's 1st...

Restaurant: Jolly Roger at Oceanside Harbor

Church: Wednesday night service

Longest drive: Up to Palomar Mountain so daddy can mountain bike down it. Went to the beach in Oceanside. Also my favorite things to do so far are; Take naps with daddy, stare at colorful paintings, suck on my hands and sit in the hammock in our back yard with mommy. :)

2 weeks old & off to the track.....

I am now 11 days old and already got to go to the track to watch my daddy ride. It was a perfect day, not too hot or crowded. It was so nice to get out of the house for a little bit and I really enjoyed the long car ride. Also here is our first family picture. It is a surprise that we were able to get all 5 of us on a chair at the same time. :) Mom could not resist putting me in the laundry basket. Can you see where I am.... She is so silly.

Brayden Christopher Bateman is HERE!!!!

Our little munchkin is finally here!! :) We are so excited that labor and delivery went VERY well, more importantly our Baby Brayden came out as healthy as can be. :) Thank the Lord!!! He was born on Thursday, April 10th at 11:58 am after 24 hours of labor. He was 8 lbs 1 oz and 20.5 inches long - a perfect little baby. :) We are now at home enjoying being a family. It has definitely been an adjustment to mommyhood and a lot more challenging then I thought, but it is sooooooo worth it. We LOVE our little man!

40 Weeks!! Big Belly & Birthday

Ok, we are finally at my official due date week. I am really hoping this munchkin is ready to come out this week. We are so excited to meet him! :) We go to the Doctor tomorrow and are hoping that they tell us that I have dilated more and am ready to go. We went for a long walk today to help speed up the process. We also celebrated daddy's birthday this weekend. His real B-Day is tomorrow the 8th of April (Brayden's due date) but we wanted to get a party in before the munchkin arrives.

39 Weeks & 1cm

We have now hit the 39 week point and I have finally made a little bit of progress. We went to the Dr. on Monday and were happily told that I am 1 cm and 60% effaced. We also spent the afternoon down in beautiful La Jolla and took advantage of all the scenic photo opps. It was like a mini (day) vacation for us... :)

Baby Brayden Arriving Soon....

Any day now.... That is what we have been told by Dr. Brody. Baby Brayden is full term and ready to arrive at any time. We can't wait!! :)
